Today, I ran into a former high school classmate. She was diagnosed May 31, 2014. She is undergoing her chemo sessions and looking forward to reconstruction. Please keep her and all that are on a breast cancer journey in your prayers
Yesterday, as I was rushing to leave the building I encountered Mrs. Betty Robinson. She was searching for an item. She found me. I found the item for her. We began to talk about my pink silicone bracelets and the breast cancer necklace that's a
part of my daily attire. She is a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed at a company sponsored health fair. Mrs. Robinson told me it was not by chanc...e that she encountered me.. We talked for at least 30 minutes. Remember, I'm trying to go home. She asked me to continue to do what I do.... although I told her that it was a small drop in a large bucket... Her wisdom said do small things in a big way. She said from her God's heart that my latter will be greater. God is positioning me for something big. Thank you Mrs. Robinson..... I am grateful for my chance encounter and I receive the message that God wanted you to give me and me alone. As my Grandma would say "Bless yo heart!" |
